Newspapers – These do not need to be bundled; all inserts are OK; Magazines/Catalogs – Do not need to be bundled; separate from Newspapers
Office Paper/Residential Mail – Plastic address windows, staples are acceptable but exclude any other plastic items or metallic stickers. Include letters, envelopes, greeting cards, gift-wrap, billings and most junk mail. Do not include brown paper envelopes, plastic envelopes, photographs, construction paper or old style carbon paper.
Corrugated Cardboard–Flatten and be sure the cardboard is not wax coated.
Brown Paper Bags – Can be mixed with Cardboard.
Boxboard – Includes cereal, cracker boxes, soda, beer and paper egg cartons. These items should be separated from all other paper products. Please do not include any “beverage packaging” (i.e. milk or juice cartons) and paper plates.
Tin & Aluminum Cans – Rinse well. Labels OK. No need to flatten.
Glass – Rinse well. Labels OK. Remove lids.
Plastics - #1 and #2 types only are accepted. Look for the # in triangle on bottom of container. Please rinse well and remove caps, lids or rings.
Waste Oil – Waste motor or fuel oils. Please no hydraulic, brake or other fluids. Ask at facility for dumping station. No fee.
White Goods & all Metals – Place in or near open top dumpster near recycle area.
Batteries – Car and Household - Place by office
Wood Waste – Brush, trees (up to 12”) will be chipped. Ask at facility for proper location. All metals or plastics must be removed from all wood items.
Composting – Leaves and Grass clippings

PROHIBITED DUMPING:
Recycle cardboard and leaf and yard wastes may not be dumped in the compactor with other household waste per local ordinance.
