The Vassalboro Public Works Department consists of a Highway Crew and the Solid Waste Facility Staff.
This time of year, as we all know, the Highway Crew is hard at work keeping our roads safe and clear by plowing and sanding our roads.  Please be patient with them as there are many miles of road and only so many hours in a day.  If you have an icy driveway...sand is available to Vassalboro residents at the Town Garage.  Sand is limited to one 5 gallon pail.  Please try to abide by that limit so there is enough for everyone.

The Town of Vassalboro has a Solid Waste Transfer Station for disposal of our trash.  This facility is for Vassalboro residents only and a sticker is required.  Stickers may be obtained at the Transfer Station.  You must provide proof of residency in order to obtain a sticker.  You can find the hours of operation and the disposal fee schedule listed below.
